You will see two buttons “CPU” and “GPU CUDA.” Click on either button to disable either one if you don’t wish to have it run.

If you plan on doing a GPU CUDA test, make sure that your GPU has at least 2GB of available GPU memory.

If you are using a laptop, we recommend that you plug in the power source as laptops often throttle power when running off battery, and turn off any power-saving features of the CPU.

Close any application that may be using resources on either the CPU or the GPU.

You can now run the file from anywhere you would like.

Registration is free and does not require a license of V-Ray. Your registration is needed to compare your results to others.

Go to /vray/benchmark and register on the site.You can delete or share a result using the delete ( ) or save screenshot buttons ( ). You can also choose to submit a private score from the Submit button. You can also see if a score is already submitted to the Benchmark website and visible for other users, or is private.

The results are listed under the three categories - V-Ray, V-Ray GPU CUDA and V-Ray GPU RTX. If you use your account on more than one machine, all performance scores are listed here. Note that here are all results obtained with the current Chaos account. If you run more than one benchmark process, you can see a list of all your performance results locally in the My scores window. To save your results in the form of an image, select the Save screenshot option. You can also see the log file (in a text format) of your test renders by following the View log file link. To start a new test (for example, to select different CUDA devices), press the New Test button on the results screen. You have to be logged in to use this field.
